4/16/2011 - Miwa helps announce The "Red Cross / 80's Rockers For Japan" Benefit for the earthquake/tsunami victims with Tak and Terry Ilouse (XYZ, Great White).

In addition to Ilous, performers who have committed to the show and recording / video project include Bobby Kimball (Toto), Chris Slade (AC/DC / The Firm), Rudy Sarzo (Whitesnake / Ozzy Osbourne / Blue Oyster Cult), Brian Tichy (Whitesnake / Foreigner / Billy Idol), Richie Kotzen (Poison / Mr. Big), Greg Douglass (The Steve Miller Band), Juan Croucier (Ratt), John Payne (Asia), Teddy Zigzag (Alice Cooper / Guns N’ Roses), James Lomenzo (Megadeth / Black Label Society), Robin McAuley (Survivor / MSG), Simon Wright (Dio / AC/DC / UFO), Robert Sarzo (Hurricane), Mitch Perry (MSG / Asia / Edgar Winter), Steven Adler and Dizzy Reed (Guns N’ Roses), Michael T. MIWA's song "My Wish Is Your Command" has been featured Jonathan Heap's short film: "Bed Ridden". Starring: Joel David Moore (Avatar, Dodge Ball, Bones, Hawaii 5-0...)

All proceeds from the film’s gala premiere and distribution will go to The CLARE Foundation, a non-profit organization that provides compassionate treatment and recovery services for alcoholism and substance abuse to individuals, family, and the community on the west side of Los Angeles.

MIWA's songs "Playing With Fire" and "Point Seven" were selected for the "Always Hope" Addiction Treatment Center in Malibu's video campaigns: "Before It's Too Late" & "Changing Lives".
